Disgruntled ex Lucas Arts employees say KOTOR 3 is to be an MMO

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, Lucas Arts laid off between 75 and 100 staff members from several different departments. The jobs are to be outsourced and it is thought that Lucas Arts believes it can be more successful in the gaming world by licensing its intellectual properties like Star Wars to external studios. The most interesting insight here is the rumors being spread by the now disgruntled ex employees.

Kotaku reports that sources from amongst the laid off workers claim that Knights of the Old Republic 3 is currently in the works and that it is> the MMO that BioWare is working on. Whilst this by no means makes anything official, it's certainly a good source, and Kotaku would not likely post these rumors without them coming from a semi-credible ex-employee or two. Lucas Arts will certainly not make comment on this, but it is a very interesting insight. We here at BioWareMMO.com are certainly excited by this news as it further points towards the biowaremmo being Star Wars based. Just what all Star Wars fans like us should hope for.
